Congolese midfielder Linda Mtange expressed confidence in Hearts of Oak's ability to clinch the Ghana Premier League (GPL) title for the 2023/24 season, emphasizing the importance of continuous victory.
In an interview with Akoma FM following their 2-1 triumph over Heart of Lions in Kumasi, Mtange stressed the significance of accumulating points through consistent wins to secure the league title.
"I believe it is beneficial for us to pick all of the points, and with God's help, we were able to do so," Mtange asserted. "I am confident that these results will continue, and that we will win the title because trophies can only be won by accumulating all points in a game, and if we continue to win, we will undoubtedly win the league."
Currently placed seventh in the league standings after 22 games, Hearts of Oak has maintained an unbeaten streak in their last eight matches. This impressive form positions them well for a title challenge.
Looking ahead, Hearts of Oak will aim to extend their positive run as they prepare to face Samarboi in their upcoming fixture in the Ghana Premier League in Samreboi in a matchweek 23 fixture.
