Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has paid tribute to the club fans following their escape from relegation.
The Phobians Premier League status remained intack after a shock-prising 3-2 victory over Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday, finishing the season on 14th position.
Hearts of Oak descended from discontent into utter catastrophe earlier this season after dishing out disastrous performance in league games.
“I want to thank all the fans for the support throughout the season. They have always been there for us in good and bad times. Without the fans, we don’t have a team. We need them every time and every moment” Ouattara said.
With relegation avoided, Ouattara's 'oddly' entitled player signing project could flourish if he adds more street-smart, experienced players ahead of the new season as it could help them challenge for an African spot next season.
