Assistant coach of King Faisal, Godwin Ablordey has stated that his side is not yet relegated as they are currently waiting for the verdict of the protest they filed at the Ghana Football Association Appeals Committee.
The Insha Allah boys tended in a case of double registration against a Tamale City player to the Appeals Committee after they showed their ill feelings towards the previous verdict.
King Faisal were relegated from the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, despite winning their final game of the season against RTU.
"Now thinking about our protest against Tamale City, the outcome will let us know whether we are staying in the league or we are going out. So we've won today but I'm not all that happy," Ablordey said.
The Appeals Committee will meet the representatives of all parties involved in the case on Wednesday, June 14, before bringing out their verdict.
