Bibiani Goldstars head coach Frimpong Manso has expressed satisfaction with his team's performance despite a 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in a preseason friendly.
The match, held on Wednesday afternoon in Cape Coast, saw a stunning strike from Bernard Somuah secure victory for the Porcupine Warriors.
Despite the loss, Manso remains upbeat, citing several positives from the game. "We've played about six games so far. Although we lost to Asante Kotoko, there are many positives we can take from this match. We will address our shortcomings before the season starts next month," he said.
Bibiani Goldstars have concluded their one-month preseason training tour in the Central Region and will now return home to finalize preparations for the upcoming season.
The Ghana Premier League is set to kick off on September 6, 2024.
