Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has pledged to deliver even more for his side as the second round of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season approaches.
The prolific forward rejoined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-and-a-half-year deal after stints in Algeria and Morocco.
Since his return, Opoku has made an immediate impact, netting five goals in just four games towards the end of the first round.
In an interview with Asempa FM, the former Nkoranza Warriors striker expressed confidence in his ability to improve further as he works toward peak fitness.
"There is more to come from me. It is just the beginning," Opoku assured. "I have so far scored five goals in four games, and as the season progresses, my fitness will improve, and so will my performance."
Asante Kotoko concluded the first round of the season in third place on the league table with 31 points, just two points behind league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
The Porcupine Warriors will aim to maintain their impressive form when they host relegation-threatened Karela United in a Matchday 18 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.
