Nurudeen Amadu, the coach of Samartex, has emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and intensity as they prepare to face Nations FC in week 18 of the Ghana Premier League.
After securing a hard-fought 2-1 away victory against Aduana Stars, which extended their lead at the top of the league table by five points, Amadu stressed the need to guard against complacency.
Baba Musah and Emmanuel Keyekeh were instrumental in securing the win for Samartex, with their goals proving decisive despite a late consolation strike from Sampson Cobbinah for the home team.
Amadu acknowledged Nations FC as a formidable opponent and cautioned his team against underestimating them.
"It’s a tough match. They are a stubborn side, so we need not to be complacent or overconfident," he remarked. "We have to go all out against Nations FC. Every match is crucial as we aspire to go far this season."
With Samartex currently leading the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points, Amadu's emphasis on maintaining focus reflects their determination to maintain their position and continue their successful campaign.
