Heart of Lions ensured a happy homecoming as they got the win they wanted - and so badly needed, securing a 1-0 narrow win over Asante Kotoko on Saturday in match-week 18 fixture of the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Bankroller of Heart of Lions Dr. Randy Abbey has expressed his satisfaction after being able to return to their home grounds as It felt like the first day of a new era.
"It is a work in progress. Anytime you come here you will see an improvement until we finish. That was also a difficulty but I must salute the Hohoe fans. They did well for us. We won a couple of matches there and we had some draws. There is no better place like home," he emphasized the significance of returning to their base after playing elsewhere during the initial rounds of the league," Dr. Abbey stated.
Heart of Lions will travel to the WAFA Park at Sogakope to face Accra Great Olympics in their match-week 19 fixture game.
