Former Hearts of Oak National Chapters Committee Deputy Chairman, Abdul Aziz Haruna Futtah insists that the current management is the worst ever to steer the affairs of the club.

Hearts of Oak lost to AS Bamako by 3:0 away in the CAF Confederations Cup last weekend.

Prior to that, Hearts of Oak had sacked their head Samuel Boadu and his backroom staff after their winless start to the betPawa Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak lost to Aduana Stars and drew with regional rivals, Great Olympics and arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

Unfortunately, Hearts of Oak couldn't hire a substantive head coach, leaving the management to fall on the newly appointed assistant coach, David Ocloo to lead the team.

Hearts of Oak will host AS Bamako in the 2nd leg at the Accra Sports Stadium this weekend.

Since Frederick Moore left his role as the Managing Director in 2020, Hearts of Oak are yet to appoint a substantive Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director with board members, Alhaji Braimah Akambi and Vincent Sowah Odotei steering the wheels at the club.

Aziz Haruna Futtah believes that the current management is the worst to steer the affairs of the club.

"I am not against the sacking of Samuel Boadu but they needed to get a replacement in place," he said on Nhyira FM.

"You sacked a coach without a plan for a successor? “How can you sack your coach and then hire an assistant coach of Kotoko to lead you to Africa? That was a funny decision."

"You can line up Messi, Ronaldo and all the best players in the world in this situation, they will mess up."

"With all due respect to these gentlemen, I can tell you that this is the worst ever management so far," he added.
