Hearts of Oak has reportedly decided to end their pursuit of Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi, according to Kickgh.com sources.

The Phobians had been keen on signing the talented shot-stopper, but Agbasi's desire to move abroad and a recent injury that will keep him out for several weeks have made it difficult for the club to proceed with the transfer.

Instead, Hearts of Oak is set to focus on signing Benjamin Asare and Andrews Owusu from Accra Lions.

Both goalkeepers had impressive campaigns last season, posting double figures in clean sheets and are seen as excellent additions to the goalkeeping department.

Benjamin Asare has already been spotted training with his new teammates at Pobiman, hinting at an imminent signing.

The Phobians are preparing for their upcoming matches, including a highly anticipated clash with arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup.
