Two WA clubs paired in the MTN FA CUP quarter final draw

The quarter finals of this years MTN FA cup will see to two clubs from the Upper West of Ghana come against each other for a place in the final four in this year's tournament.

League leaders Wa All Stars will play host to city rivals Wa Rockets at the Wa park on the 18th of June, 2016 whilst Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host premier league giants Bechem United in a quest for a semi final berth in the FA Cup on the same date at the Baba Yara sports stadium.

The porcupine warriors who were runner-ups in the last edition to Medeama will be looking forward to achieving a great mark of reaching the semi finals for the fifth time since 2010 as they have been the most consistent club in the newly edified competition winning just one out of it. In other games, Okwahu United will call on West Africa Football Association (WAFA) at their home grounds on the 19th June, 2016.

Liberty Professionals at the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park will host the only unbeaten side in Ghana football, Elmina Sharks for glory and a final four teams to challenge one another in the semi finals.

Medeama SC who are the current holders of the trophy were eliminated by WAFA and are representing Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup.
