Assistant coach, Abdul Rabi Umar will take over as the interim head coach of Medeama following the exit of David Duncan
Medeama SC on Thursday officially announced the mutual termination of David Duncan's contract after an uninspiring performance since his arrival.
Duncan joined Medeama in September on a one-year contract but the Yellow and Mauves have been struggling in the ongoing Ghana Premier League under his tutelage.
Medeama are eleventh after nine games in the Ghana Premier League so far.
Medeama has won just a-game in their last seven games in the Ghana Premier League.
Abdul Rabi Umar joined Medeama after Ignatius Osei-Fosu was shown the exit door last season as the head coach, but was demoted to an assistant role following Duncan's appointment in September.
Medeama will lock horns with Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
