Accra Hearts of Oak striker Kashala Wanet Ramos has reportedly told the club's leadership of his desire to leave the club and has requested for contract termination.
The Congolese international joined the Phobians on a free transfer after impressing the club's technical team during a three-week trial period prior to the start of the 2023/24 season's campaign.
Kashala Ramos was tipped to take the Ghana Premier League by storm following his scoring prowess in Hearts of Oak's pre-season friendlies.
However, he has been struggling to maintain a place in the starting line up and sometimes not included in the match-day squad list.
According to reports in the local media, the 23-year-old has written to the top hierarchy of Hearts of Oak for an immediate contract termination, citing dissatisfaction with the technical direction of the club.
Kashala Ramos has scored only one goal in 11 Ghana Premier League matches for Hearts of Oak in his debut season so far.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak have entered the transfer market to secure the signature of ex-WAFA goalkeeper Kwadwo Osei Bonsu to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
Hearts of Oak will play as guests to their city rivals Great Olympics in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League match-week 16 later today at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
