The Ghana Police have apprehended Seidu Musah, also known as Gaswan, in connection with the assault on Nsoatreman FC coach, Maxwell Konadu.
Musah, along with another individual currently evading arrest, attacked the coach during a football game on November 19, 2023, at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Seidu Musah is currently in police custody, cooperating with the investigation, while efforts are underway to apprehend the other suspect for legal proceedings.
Earlier today, the Police announced that officers have been deployed to Sunyani to manhunt two individuals who were involved in the physical assault on the former Black Stars assistant coach.
Konadu was brutalized by Bofoakwa Tano FC fans after his side, Nsoatreman FC, had held them to a 0-0 draw in the Ghana Premier League match-week 11 game.
The statement from the Ghana Police Services confirmed the arrest of suspect Seidu Musah in connection of the attack on Maxwell Konadu. The other suspect is on the run.

The Police have arrested suspect Seidu Musah alias Gaswan in connection with the attack on the coach of Nsoatreman FC, Mr. Maxwell Konadu.
The suspect, together with one other person, currently on the run, attacked the coach during a football game, yesterday, 19th November 2023, at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Suspect Seidu Musah is currently in Police custody assisting the investigation while efforts are still ongoing to get the other suspect arrested to face justice, and we will surely get him.
