Bechem United head coach, Kobina Amissah admitted his side were second-best on the day in their defeat to Vision FC over the weekend and described his opponents as a very well-organized team.
The Hunters suffered a 3-2 loss to the ‘Ewuo Keke’ lads in what was a very intriguing and entertaining five-goal thriller last Saturday in GPL round 23 opener at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium.
Mohammed Sam-An, Meshack Adjetey and Ibrahim Larbi found the net for Vision, while Augustine Okrah scored both goals for Bechem United to increase his goal tally to nine as he is currently second on the goalking chart.
In a post-match interview, the experienced tactician, who earned nomination for best coach of the month for January, admitted defeat and praised Vision FC for a solid performance.
“It was a lovely game. When you are playing with such young games, the game is very exciting. Comparing their speed with our speed, they were better than us.”
“What I will say is that some of my boys lost their concentration. Sometimes they forget how to close their opponent. This is the best match I’ve watched since I took charge of Bechem United.”
The defeat leaves Bechem United sitting 10th on the league log with 29 points and will now return home to face Karela United FC in match-day 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
