West African Football Academy youngster,Gideon Waja believes his side is on the right track after the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

WAFA midfielder,Gideon WAJA believes their season is on course ahead of the second round of the league.

The Sogakope based side has been average on away performances in the first round but their midfielder is adamant his side can finish within the top four.

"We have not fared badly,we are working hard to improve,our aim is be on top of the league, or better still in the top four'' He told Kickgh.com

The former Feyenoord academy has lost their technical brain ahead of the second round but their influential anchorman played down a ripple effect on his team after John Killa left the side.

''No not at all,we just have to be focused,work hard and we will do better.''

The Volta region based team was eliminated in extra time of the MTN FA CUP on Sunday.
