Asante Kotoko target Salifu Ibrahim has made clear that the decision to join a new team does not solely rely on him despite being linked with a move to the Porcupine Warriors.
The 24-year-old who is out-of-contract at Hearts of Oak addressed the speculation about his future in an interview with Kessben. He expressed the desire to join a club which will help him in his development in becoming a top player and “win more trophies”.
“My manager is in charge of everything. I’m counting on him. The decision to join a new team does not rely solely on me. I have to reach consensus with my manager and family before taking any step"
Ibrahim joined the Phobians in 2021 and played an instrumental role after an impressive breakthrough in their 2021-2022 Ghana Premier League title triumph.
In the recently concluded season, the former Eleven Wonders star notched only two goals and provided ten assists in 32 games.
