Berekum Chelsea gaffer Samuel Boadu has stated that his team will be out for revenge against Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League encounter on 4th and 18th May, respectively.
The Bibires will clash with Hearts of Oak on match-week 29 and Asante Kotoko on match-week 30. The last time Chelsea and Hearts clashed was on Sunday, 26th November, 2023, with the Bibires snatching a 1-1 draw stalemate in a thrilling game at Accra Sports Stadium.
Berekum Chelsea went under the knife against Asante Kotoko in the first round in Kumasi as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat.
Ugandan striker Stephen Mukwala scored the only goal in that game in the 41st minute to keep all three points for the Porcupines at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Boadu, who is gradually warming into his new role at Berekum Chelsea, has now voiced his thoughts ahead of their upcoming GPL encounter against the two most glamorous clubs, as he's determined to secure a win in both matches.
"We respect all the clubs, but we will do our best to pick points in those games," Boadu said. "We respect all the Premier clubs, and we will work hard to get the maximum points."
Berekum Chelsea are currently bossing the fifth position on the league log with 41 points after matchday 27 of the season.
Before coming up against Hearts and Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea will travel to Dawu to neck-it-down with Legon Cities in match-week 28 on Friday, April 26.
