Abdulai Gazale, the interim head coach of Asante Kotoko, has emphasized that his team is solely focused on winning their upcoming match against RTU in match week 25.
In their previous game at the El-Wak Stadium during match week 24, Asante Kotoko drew 1-1 with Legon Cities. The Porcupine Warriors took the lead with skipper Richard Boadu's penalty in the 17th minute, but Alex Aso's goal in the 70th minute secured a draw for the Royals.
With the draw, Kotoko climbed to sixth place with 35 points, while Cities managed to avoid relegation only by goal difference.
"Undoubtedly, we are working hard because without a trophy, there can be no league for Kotoko. The players are aware of this. We will work hard to ensure we get wins out of the 10 games remaining," said Gazale.
"We will take it one game at a time, starting with our upcoming home game against RTU. We cannot afford to lose or draw, so we will return to Kumasi, work hard, and aim for the three points," he added.
