Asante Kotoko head coach, Abdul Karim Zito believes that the club can win the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League but it involves strategic planning and positive outcomes in the two games left to end the season.
The Porcupine Warriors Matchweek 32 away clash against Bibiani Gold Stars ended in a draw, a result he conceded as not meeting expectations.
Speaking in his post game interview, Zito expressed disappointment of losing two crucial points but maintained a positive outlook.
“It was a fantastic game ,every team wanted to win , we all created a lot of chances and we couldn’t put it into the net .Nobody knows what is going to happen, unless we calculate and add the two games," he stated.
"Even if we win, then we can’t go anywhere, then it’s over for me. For now I will never say it’s over."
Asante Kotoko are currently 3rd on the league log with 55 points. The Porcupine Warriors will next face Medeama in a Matchweek 33 fixture before wrapping up the season with an arduous trek to the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Stadium to sli it with Vision FC on the last day of the season.
