Aduana FC defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor believes the club can win both the Ghana Premier League and the Ghana FA Cup before the end of the 2025/26 season.

The Fire club side have been one of the most consistent teams in the league and FA Cup this season, as they have delivered strong performances in both competitions.

After 25 league matches, Aduana FC are third on the table with 41 points, five behind leaders Medeama SC in what remains a closely contested title race.

Despite the gap, confidence remains high within the Fire Boys camp as the season enters its final stage. The team believes it still has a strong chance of closing the points gap and competing for the league title.

Aduana are also enjoying a good run in the FA Cup and have reached the quarter-finals. They will face Techiman Liberty this weekend at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park for a place in the semi-finals.

Speaking ahead of the match, Kuffuor said the squad is determined to fight for both domestic trophies.

“We promised to win both the FA Cup and the Ghana Premier League at the end of the season. I will plead with the fans to cheer us to success,” he said.

“We are still hopeful of winning the league because the season is not over yet. The points gap gives us an equal opportunity to fight and win the league.”

The 24-year-old centre-back joined Aduana FC from Nations FC during the winter transfer window and has quickly become an important part of the team’s defence.
