Aduana Stars' Bright Adjei has shared insights after their crucial victory against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyeman Badu Stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro during Week 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
Adjei's decisive goal in the 67th minute secured a 1-0 win for the home side, maintaining their position at the top of the league for at least another week.
In a post-match interview, the seasoned player acknowledged the challenges of facing Hearts of Oak, stating, "Playing against Hearts of Oak is not easy."
Adjei highlighted the team's determination, emphasizing that Aduana Stars, having faced three consecutive losses, couldn't afford another defeat.
“Aduana Stars have lost three games consecutively so we could not afford to lose this game. The coaches taught us a lot and we the players decided not to lose again”.
Bright Adjei's stellar performance earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) accolade in the 1-0 victory against Hearts of Oak.
