Legon Cities coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin has revealed that his side won't be making any major signing in the ongoing transfer window.

The capital based side are yet to announce any major signing ahead of the 2024/25 football season.

However, the Royals have transferred top players including Samuel Tenedu, Mohammed Sumaila and Kwabena Boateng, cashing in massively on their transfers.

Speaking to Kessben FM, Fabin said: “The bulk of the team is there. Samuel Tenedu, Kwabena Boateng, and Mohammed Sumaila are the only players to have departed the team and that’s why we are doing this exercise to replace them.

He further went ahead to state that his club will rely on second division players for the new season and does not plan to make any major signings.

“At Legon Cities, we don’t make signings, we only rely on second division players. Last season, we did the same and it worked out. We picked Tenedu from Ebony FC in Kumasi and he is now a star. That is what Legon Cities is made of."
