Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko is confident his team can deliver a strong performance when they travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in their upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture.

The Yellow and Mauve head into the encounter in encouraging form, having recorded two wins and three draws in their last five matches — a run that has boosted confidence within the camp and sharpened focus ahead of the difficult away assignment.

Preparations this week have been intense, with training sessions centred on team shape, quick passing and maintaining a compact structure on the road, as Medeama brace themselves for what is expected to be a tough atmosphere in Kpando.

“We are preparing like any other game and we hope we are going to have a very good game at Kpando,” Tanko told Medeama TV.

“We don’t want to lose. We are going there to pick a point or pick all three points if possible,” he added.

The Ghana Premier League clash between Heart of Lions and Medeama SC is scheduled for Friday, December 27, at the Kpando Stadium, with kickoff set for 3:30 pm.
