Legon Cities defender, Frank Akoto has emphasized the need for his team to secure the maximum points at all cost in their next game against Medeama in the Ghana Premier League.

In their opening game on Sunday, Cities fell short losing 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars, leaving them in a precarious position.

Akoto acknowledged the heightened pressure following the loss saying “It’s not a bad performance at all. We lost but we gave a good fight. Most of the players are very new but we keep talking to them to share our experiences," he said in a post-match interview.

“Next game is a home match, we will go all out & fight for the points."

On Friday, Legon Cities will next play Medeama, who won their opening match 1-0 against Accra Lions at the TNA Stadium.
