Hearts of Oak suffered a 3-2 defeat against Samatex 1996 DC in their game at Samreboi in the Western Region, despite their hopes of securing all three points.

However, Emmanuel Keyeke scored in the 80th minute to level the game, and a 94th-minute goal from Dauda Yussif Seidu sealed the victory for Samatex.

Samuel Inkoom, a former FC Basel player and current Hearts defender, expressed his disappointment with the referee's decisions in the match.

"I have to say, I am very very disappointed about the referees,” he bemoaned.

“Some of the decision are very bad. We have to make the game beautiful. We want football and Ghana is a football nation. The passion is going down because some of the decisions are not good. To be honest they are uncalled for."

Hearts of Oak is currently in fifth place on the league table with 45 points, just one point ahead of their rivals Asante Kotoko, who have 44 points.
