Communications Director of Medeama SC, Patrick Akoto has disclosed the club's ambitions and way forward after annexing the Ghana Premier League for the first time in their history over the weekend

The Mauves and Yellows after winning the championship will represent Ghana in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League- having already gotten assurance for monetary support from their headline sponsors Goldfields Ghana.

In an interview, Patrick Akoto stated they are aware of the challenge in Africa and that's why they will have strengthen their current squad with experience and the youthful exuberance and believes that will be really malleable for them to fare well on the continent.
 
"Clearly there is more room for improvement and we intend to beef up the squad. We are looking at making strategic signings to aid our campaign," Akoto told the local media
 
"We have to look at the various department and see where we need to augment. We want to build a fearsome attacking threat and also solidify the defence as well.
 
"Processes to get some of our intended targets are well underway and so our fans will be duly informed on progress made."
 
"The Africa terrain requires experience and so we're leaving no stone unturned in our quest to make a significant impact."
