Accra Lions head coach Ibrahim Tanko has admitted that he knew they were going to have a strenuous start to the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Ghana international's comments come on the back of Accra Lions fighting robustly to scoop a point in their 1-1 draw away at Karela United.
Accra Lions are yet to win a game this season after three round of matches. They lost 1-0 to Medeama and went ahead to lose 2-0 to newbies' Vision FC.
"I think we knew we were going to have a problem in the first five matches because we transferred almost nine players and we have nine new players to the starting 11," Ibrahim Tanko said.
"Definitely, we knew we were going to have a problem, but as time goes on, I believe that we will be more secured and get our points."
