Head coach of Nsoatreman FC, Maxwell Konadu has disclosed they started the game very well against Accra Lions but lost focus at some point reason they lost the game.

The Lions fought really hard in the second half to come from behind to beat Nsoatreman FC by 2-1 at WAFA Park in Sogakope in match-day 15 of the Ghana Premier League.

Kwabena Adu Meider scored the season's fastest goal and arguably the fastest in the league's history after finding the back of the net in just ten seconds from kickoff.

However, substitute Yahaya Mohammed was the hero in the second half for the host after coming from the bench to level things up on the 72nd minute, before completing his brace eight minutes later with a beauty to snatch all three points for his side.

In an interview, the experienced trainer stated they sticked to their game and threw more men forward despite in the lead but feels they were completely lost concentration.

"Yh we didn't want to change our shape in the first half and wanted to maintain it but having said that we tried pushing more men forward but against the round of play they equalised and that distablised us a bit."

"I think we should have remained focus, make sure we were doing the right things by covering the little spaces we left behind."

Nsoatreman FC will host Aduana Stars on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
