Nations FC captain Razak Simpson has challenged his side to be more clinical in front of goal as they head to Tarkwa for a stern Ghana Premier League match week 4 clash against Medeama SC on Sunday.
The Abrankese-based club sit sixth in the table with four points after three matches but have shown a tendency to squander clear chances — a flaw Simpson believes has already cost them valuable points.
“We need to do better, we need to try harder because performance-wise it was okay, but we need to take our chances,” he stated.
“We had a lot of chances, but we need to bury them. This is what me, my colleagues and the coaches are preparing for throughout this week — to just bury our chances.”
Their opponents, Medeama, currently fourth on six points, will be aiming to recover from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Karela United.
The Yellow and Mauves are unbeaten at the TnA Stadium this season and boast one of the league’s strongest home records across the last two seasons.
