President of FC Samartex 1996, Mr. Richard Nsenkyire has called on various stakeholders to offer unflinching support to the club in all their campaigns.

Mr. Nsenkyire made an appeal to the club's supporters, media and other stakeholders in Ghana football to continue rally behind the club's management and the team in all competitions.

He said during the club's press conference dubbed ‘Meet The Press’ that through the club's visionary leadership since the foundation of FC Samartex was laid in Samreboi has economically helped the growth of the city and its environs.

Under Mr. Nsenkyire's leadership, FC Samartex has established a women's football team, scheduled to participate in this season's Western Region Women's Division One League and a feeder club to the men and women team. Also, the team's home venue [Nsenkyire Sports Arena] has seen major facelift in the last years and classified among the best stadiums in Ghana.

“These investments involves huge sums of money. If we look at where we want to get to, we need more capital injection. It's the reason we will need the support of various stakeholders — cooperate Ghana, the media and the supporters,” Mr. Nsenkyire said.

“Together, hand in hand, we can achieve remarkable heights and make our shared dreams reality. Together, we shall build a solid football brand that will last.”

Nsenkyire also expressed his gratitude to the media for their immense contribution in elevating the FC Samartex brand and urged them to continue project the club to the world to reach wider audience.

“Moreover, we extend our plea to the media, urging then to actively engage with us, assist in awareness about FC Samartex 1996's endeavors and help expand our reach to a wider audience.”

FC Samartex secured a historic promotion to the Ghanaian top-flight league, two seasons ago and left a great mark in their debut campaign after finishing 10th place with 42 points at the end of the season.
