Assistant coach of Hearts of Oak, Abdul Rashid Bashir has disclosed that, they were very poor on the day in their loss at Bofoakwa Tano and believes their opponents deserved to carry the day and run out with all three points.

The Rainbow Club were stunned by the newbies last Saturday at the Coronation Park in match-day 3 of the Ghana Premier League- in a tie they lost narrowly by a 1-0.

It was really a tricky tie most especially in the first phase of the game but Saaka Dauda's lone second half strike was enough to earn the homesters the precious victory.

The 'Phobians' have now appallingly lost two in their opening three matches of the season and the club's deputy gaffer admitted they didn't deserve a point from that game.

"To be frank with you we played so bad, especially in the first half. That wasn’t the plan. The score line was a fair score line,” Bashir told StarTimes at full time.

"Later part of the game we came in the game but it was too late. And I think they played well."

Hearts of Oak will host Dreams FC in GPL match-day 4 next week in the capital.
