Young Apostles winger Hussein Issah says his side should have scored more goals despite their convincing 3–0 win over Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Issah, 21, scored twice, with Kingsford Agyemang adding the other goal, as Young Apostles claimed all three points in their Matchday 21 clash of the 2025/26 season.

Speaking after the game, Issah said strong motivation and determination helped his team get the result.

“We knew the game was not going to be easy, so we had to motivate ourselves before the match, and that helped us to secure the victory,” he said.

“We have a -6 goal difference, so we were determined to score more. We should have scored more, but we couldn’t.”

The right-winger believes the team will be more clinical in future matches.

“Next time we will do better to convert more chances. We did well, and at the end of the day, we have secured all three points,” Issah added.

The win moves Young Apostles up to 13th place in the Ghana Premier League table with 26 points, while Eleven Wonders remain rooted to the bottom.
