Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani believes his side’s 2–2 draw against Bibiani Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon was an unfair reflection of their performance.

The Phobians twice surrendered the lead at the Accra Sports Stadium in a thrilling Week 7 encounter, leaving their coach frustrated by the missed opportunity to secure maximum points.

Speaking after the game, Dramani expressed disappointment with his team’s finishing despite their dominance.

“We definitely should have won the game hands down. In the first 15 minutes, we created some good chances, but I still think we need to improve our decision-making. In the second half, we still dominated play and stayed mostly in their half,” he said.

The Hearts boss noted that a lapse in concentration allowed Gold Stars to capitalize, emphasizing the need for greater consistency and composure going forward.

“When we lost our balance, that’s when they took advantage. Going forward, we need to make the right decisions. There’s still a lot we must improve as a team,” Dramani added.

The result leaves Hearts of Oak in sixth place on the Ghana Premier League table with 13 points after seven matches. The Phobians will aim to return to winning ways when they travel to face Holy Stars on Sunday, November 2.
