Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has called on the club’s supporters to throw their full weight behind the team after securing their first victory of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Phobians edged Dreams FC 1-0 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Monday, a result that lifted them to four points from their opening two matches.

Speaking after the game, Dramani stressed the importance of fan support in driving the team forward, urging Hearts’ faithful to turn up in numbers at matches to inspire the players.

“We want the fans to come to the stadium and let their presence be felt. The team belongs to them, and we are working to make it better for them. We are giving Hearts of Oak a clear identity and direction,” Dramani said.

The decisive moment came in the 14th minute when midfielder Mohammed Hussein pounced on a loose ball inside the penalty area and calmly slotted past Dreams goalkeeper Gidios Aseako.

The victory marked a positive response for Hearts, who had been held to a goalless draw by newly promoted Hohoe United in their season opener. Dreams FC, meanwhile, remain without a point after suffering back-to-back defeats in their first two games.
