Bechem United defender Alhassan Abdul Razak is hoping his side can build on their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign after a hard-fought 2-0 triumph over Vision FC.

The Hunters finally broke their winless run in Week 6 of the season, with Abdul Razak playing a key role in defence as Bechem United claimed all three points at their favorite Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

Reflecting on the result, the defender expressed relief and optimism that the victory could spark a turnaround in form.

“We thank God for this win. We’ve been playing good football but struggled to score. Today we were very determined to get all three points, and that’s how we managed to win,” Abdul Razak said after the game.

He added that the team’s focus now shifts to maintaining consistency.

“After our first win, we want to keep winning. Even if we can’t, we’ll make sure we bring a point home,” he noted.

Bechem United will aim to build on their momentum when they travel to face Karela United on October 26 in their next league fixture.
