Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has called on his players to remain focused and consistent following their 2-0 away victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park on Saturday.

Second-half goals from Hamza Issah and Mawuli Wayo in the 64th and 90+5th minutes secured a crucial three points for the Phobians, who produced a composed and disciplined performance on the road.

Despite the impressive result, Dramani cautioned against complacency, stressing the importance of maintaining focus throughout the campaign.

“We need to stay consistent and recognize that we still have much work to do to improve,” he said after the match. “It’s a good result, but we can’t get carried away. What matters most is building momentum and staying disciplined in our play.”

The victory marks another positive step in Hearts of Oak’s push to climb the league table after a mixed start to the season. Since Dramani took charge, the team has shown improved balance between attack and defense, though the coach insists the project remains a work in progress.

“We are developing a structure that allows us to control games better,” Dramani added. “The players are responding well, but consistency is what will define us.”

Hearts of Oak will now turn their attention to their next league clash against Bibiani Gold Stars, as they aim to extend their unbeaten run and continue re-establishing themselves among Ghana’s top contenders.
