Bibiani Gold Stars coach Petros Koukouras says his side is determined to improve their poor start to the Ghana Premier League season when they face Vision FC on Saturday.
Gold Stars have picked up just three points from their opening four matches after struggling to find consistency.
Their difficult start continued last weekend when they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Port City at Duns Park in Bibiani.
The result left Gold Stars 16th in the league table, while defender Michael Abina was sent off during the game.
Koukouras admits his team have not started the season as expected but insists they are determined to turn things around.
"Well, obviously, no one is happy with how we started the season. But everyone is so determined to turn the things around. We have talked with the boys to identify what is the problem and the team is not performing according to the standards. And I think this week we will present a very different team to the game," he told Bibiani Gold Stars media.
The Miners will now look to bounce back when they travel to the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex in Tema New Town to face Vision FC on Saturday, with kick off slated at 3pm.
