Berekum Chelsea head coach Kwaku Danso is confident his team can secure a positive result when they travel to face Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League Matchweek 5 fixture.
The Blues have endured a slow start to the season, collecting four points from their opening four matches and currently sitting 15th on the league table.
Berekum Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Vision FC in their last outing after Seidu Abubakar opened the scoring in the 58th minute before Ruben Quaye restored parity for the visitors.
Ahead of Sunday’s away fixture at the AAK II Sports Arena, Danso says his players have intensified preparations and are determined to fight for a good result.
“As you can see from the field, we are preparing fervently for that. We believe that we are going to have a good result. We are on it.”
The coach added:
“God willing, we will be setting off Saturday to Basake, and as I said, we will bring a good result home.”
Berekum Chelsea will face Basake Holy Stars on Sunday at 15:00 GMT, with the Blues aiming to improve their position on the Ghana Premier League table with a strong performance.
