Hearts of Oak defender George Paaku believes the Phobians can return to winning ways when they face Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
Hearts have endured a difficult spell in their last two league matches, recording one draw and one defeat while failing to score in both games.
However, Paaku says the team has reviewed its recent performances and worked on correcting the mistakes that affected their results.
Speaking ahead of the Week Five fixture, the defender revealed that the players have identified areas for improvement as they prepare for the Dreams FC encounter.
“I think today we did some analysis. I think we saw our mistakes and the areas where we could have done better. We have worked towards it and watched our mistakes, so we have to improve from that.”
Paaku stressed the importance of ending the poor run quickly and returning to winning form.
“It’s always important to get back quickly to the winning ways. It’s been two matches where we have drawn one and lost one, and we haven’t been able to score in two games.”
“So, I think it’s very important for us to get back into winning ways as quickly as possible.”
Hearts of Oak will host Dreams FC at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 3, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 GMT.
