Speaking after the season, the club's Spokesperson has confirmed they will make some additions to their current squad as they look to strengthen their team for their Africa campaign. He added that some of the players who also failed to live up to expectation will also be shown the exit doors
“We are going to plan for the African campaign in terms of finances. We will soon effect changes in the team. Players who were unable to meet our expectations will be shown the exit door. In the next few days, some players will leave the club” he said.
Asante Kotoko will represent the country in the 2025/26 CAF Confederations Cup season starting from the first preliminary round
