Bibiani Goldstars head coach, Michael Osei comes up against his former club and has vowed to at least avoid s defeat in the crunchy clash coming up.
The Miners will clash with the champions Asante Kotoko this weekend in match-week 30 of the Ghana Premier League.
They have really struggled for the past weeks having suffered three loses consecutive against RTU, Berekum Chelsea and league leaders Aduana Stars.
However, they seem to have patched up all cracks in their team and redeemed themselves with a 1-0 win over Great Olympics over the weekend, courtesy Godfred Kyei's first half strike.
In an interview ahead of the game, Michael Osei stated his team is in a very shape and are ever ready to do battle with the Porcupine Warriors.
“I believe the team is in good shape but it is very unfortunate for us to go three games without a point. So we are going to Kumasi to do our best and get the results” he said.
The game is scheduled for 1500GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
