Medeama SC midfielder Prince Owusu has pledged that his side will leave nothing on the pitch as they prepare to host Samartex this Saturday in a fierce Ghana Premier League clash.

The Yellow and Mauves will welcome the Timber Giants to the TNA Stadium for the matchday six encounter, with Medeama aiming to maintain their perfect start to the season.

Speaking ahead of the match, Owusu, who recently returned from international duty, emphasized the team’s commitment.

“We are not taking the game for granted. We will go all out to secure victory against Samartex. I will urge the fans to come to the stadium in their numbers, and we promise to make them proud,” he told the club’s media team.

Owusu, who made his Black Stars debut in Ghana’s win over the Central African Republic during the final round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers, is expected to play a key role for Medeama. The midfielder had earned his maiden call-up for the national team following impressive performances domestically.

Medeama currently top the Ghana Premier League standings with 12 points from five matches, and a win against Samartex would strengthen their bid to maintain spark in the early stages of the season.
