Head coach of Bofoakwa Tano, Frimpong Manso has stated that he is assembling a team that could be up to slew more surprises in the upcoming 2023-24 Ghana Premier League.

Manso, who's known as an emperor of Ghana football says that, currently, he is focused on instilling winners mentality and transforming the Sunyani-based side that gained promotion back to the Ghana Premier League after more than a decade in the National Division One League.

“We are trying to build a formidable team before the start of the Ghana Premier League season," Manso told Kessben FM.

“In our first game in the Super Cup, we started with a team and tried to infuse some players in subsequent games. We knew our game against Nations FC was going to be difficult because they are a good side but I think my players were more determined, played well, and tried to keep the ball as much as possible. So for us, I think that was what we wanted to do," he added.

Bofo is holding on to their superb form under the tutelage of Frimpong Manso who has guided the team to the finals of the ongoing Division One Super Cup.

Bofoakwa Tano stunned Nations FC 1-0 to set up a thrilling final with Skyy FC.

The Hunters will kickstart their 2023-24 topflight campaign with a visit to Accra Great Olympics on September 16, 2023.
