Executive board member of Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe have asked fans of the club to remain calm and be patient with head coach Aboubakar Ouattara despite the team's abysmal start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have lost both of their opening two games, losing to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars and Heart of Lions, pushing fans of the club to call for his immediate sacking.

But, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe thinks otherwise, saying it's too early to relieve the gaffer of his duties.

"I am not worried about this [the team's current form]. All I will tell the supporters is that they should just take their time," he told Angel Sports.

"We are building a team and when we are building a team, it takes some time to build a team.

"Look at what is happening to Manchester United. They are losing matches but you can see he [Erik ten Hag] is building a team and I want us to go that tangent."

Hearts of Oak are currently manning the 18th spot of the league log, and will now face Bechem United in their match-week three fixture at the Legon Sports Stadium after Accra Sports Stadium was closed for maintenance.
