Bibiani GoldStars’ deputy Communication and Administrative Manager, Joseph Oti Manu, says the club remains the strongest side at home this season in the GPL, insisting they are fully prepared for giants Hearts of Oak this weekend.

The champions approach the game in fine spirit after securing a dramatic 1-2 comeback victory away at Heart of Lions last week. It was a performance that showed their resilience and improvement in difficult moments.

The Miners turned the game around through late goals from league top scorer Samuel Atta Kumi, who now has 10 goals and substitute John Arthur Godfred to ensure all three points returned to Bibiani.

Oti Manu in an interview with Citi Sports stated emphatically clear that they are ever ready and poised for the game as they head in for nothing but victory. He justified his claims that they have the best home record so far in the league and will preserve it once again against the giants

"We are the best club in the Premier League in home matches," he declared.

"Fritz Schmid has done refresher training courses with the players since he arrived the last two months. So psychologically, the team was up to the task to win that match. We are really ready to welcome Hearts of Oak on Sunday.”

GoldStars currently sit second on the league table with 42 points, just three adrift the top-spot and will welcome Hearts of Oak on Sunday, March 1, at the Dun’s Park.
