Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei says the club’s main aim this season is to challenge for every available trophy.
The Yellow and Mauve remain in strong contention for a possible double. They are through to the FA Cup quarterfinals and currently sit top of the Ghana Premier League table after 21 matches.
Medeama sealed their FA Cup progress with a hard-fought win over Samartex 1996 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa. The Round of 16 encounter ended goalless after regulation time before Medeama triumphed 4–2 in the penalty shootout.
Speaking after the victory, Kyei underlined the team’s ambition while stressing the need for focus.
“We are competing for every trophy this season,” he said. “We want to win any competition we find ourselves in, but we will take it game by game.”
Medeama will face Division One League side Attram De Visser Academy in the FA Cup quarterfinals, with the date to be confirmed by the FA Cup Committee and the Ghana Football Association.
