Samartex FC are very keen on winning the Ghana Premier League title this season, having seen that as a huge opportunity and have also targeted at least a top four finish.
The Timber Giants extended their winning streak to three after recording another 2-0 win over Accra Lions in the last round of matches to maintain their perfect home start.
The Green and Blacks have been very consistent and are currently leading the league with 26 points after 14 games, having won 8, drawn 2 with 4 defeats.
Head coach Nurudeen Amadu is definitely impressed with his side's performance and is hoping they emerge winners of the league by the end of the season.
"As a young club, if we win the league that would be good for us, but we want to improve upon last season’s performance and even if we don’t win the league, we should be among the top four."
