A former management member of Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy says it is high time the club start winning matches at length in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

The Porcupine Warriors have lost four, drawn three and won five in the GPL, and are holding on to the 7th spot with 18 points after twelve rounds of matches.

After entering the season with high hopes, injuries, poor play has derailed Kotoko's season. With no idea where the team is headed, former club baron George Kennedy said the team is tired of losing.

“We need to do things better as a club (Kotoko). It’s not acceptable for Kotoko to lose consecutive games. As we return to Baba Yara Sports Stadium, we hope and pray that things go well for us. We are tired of losing and it’s time to win games” he told Kessben FM.

Kennedy went ahead to speak about the importance of their upcoming matchup with Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium. Although in terms of form and on paper, the Porcupines are the least expected team who will beat the Phobians, Kennedy hopes they will pull a surprise and defeat Hearts.
