Former management member of Asante Asante Kotoko, George Kennedy has called on fans of the club to support head coach Prosper Ogum following the team’s recent wobbly performance.
The Porcupine Warriors have lost four, drawn three and won five in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, placing Ogum on the board of criticism.
This statistics leaves the 24 times Ghana Premier League champions at the 7th position with 18 points after twelve rounds of matches.
With the section of the fans unhappy ahead of their matchday 13 game against Hearts of Oak, George Kennedy, who is also a club legend of Kotoko, has called on the supporters to give Coach Prosper Ogum time to put things in order at the club to ensure he succeeds.
“Coach Ogum needs time. He’s still under contract and needs our support to achieve great things with the club. We made some new recruitment this season after letting go over 18 players at the beginning of this season," he told Kessben FM.
“So the team and the coach need time to get back on their winning ways. Let’s rally behind the team in this difficult time and I believe strongly that we will be great again," he added.
