Head coach of Basake Holy Stars, Abdulai Gazale has expressed dissatisfaction over how wasteful they have been in their opening five matches of the season.

The newbies made an explosive start to their debut topflight campaign with an important 0-1 away win over giants Hearts of Oak in Accra but it appears they have been off track since.

Over the weekend, they suffered their third defeat so far having lost narrowly at Vision FC and currently have a win, a draw and three loses from their opening five matches.

Reacting to their unimpressive start, the enterprising gaffer has fumed at his players inability to bury chances despite working on it severally at training.

“Goalscoring has been a challenge. We’ve created a lot chances in our games but we are unable to utilize them. I’m becoming angry because I think we’ve done a lot of work on goal-scoring” he said.

Basake Holy Stars will welcome Karela United in the next round of GPL matches at the Crossby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase.
